We are happy to introduce you to three wonderful dialogue starters for this gathering!

Don Miguel Ruiz is spiritual teacher and international author and speaker, and member of the Transformational Leadership Council.  His most acclaimed book, The Four Agreements:  A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom, was a New York Times bestseller for over seven years, has sold more than seven million copies in the United States alone, and has been translated into more than 35 languages worldwide.

don Miguel will join us via Skype Video to share The Agreement to Lead During the Planetary Shift.  “I am here to help people transform their inner worlds, to let humanity know, there is a much better way of life.”

“Love and happiness are inside us.  We must learn to be patient, adapt to circumstance and enjoy life as it is, as best we can.  Adjust to life, provide service, take advantage of the changes.  Be first to enjoy the change, then others around you, then society, then humanity.

“People are different now, compared to the 80s, when I began this work.  They’re more ready to understand.”  A social commentator, rooted in indigenous wisdom, Ruiz sees our major obstacles to the creation of a new, sustainable world to be, “first, ourselves – our judgments, rejections and limitations.  We live life as we do because of the decisions we make.  We are the ones who make us unhappy.”

“Our other major obstacle is the conflict between various people in power in our societies.  Power elites always exist and want to control society.  They’re one to two percent of humanity.  It’s an historical cycle, so periodically power decays and new power groups arise.  It’s the playing out of this cycle now that is an obstacle.  It’s also a reflection of how humanity evolves through periods of stability and instability.  We’re in a time of instability now, a time when everything shifts.”

Ruiz sees our current global crisis as an opportunity to create a new stability.  “We’re going in the right direction,” he notes.  “Last century, the whole of humanity shifted.  In this new century, it is happening even faster.  With planetary communication as it is now, truth and lies go everywhere. “

Asked about the meaning of 2012 and the end of the Mayan calendar, Ruiz comments, “There is no meaning, and nothing will happen, except insofar as we cause it to happen.  The meaning 2012 will have is the meaning we give to it.  It should mean the end of superstition and fanaticism, and a return to the truth.    That’s up to us.  We must learn to listen. And the key word is respect.

“We must all agree to see December 22, 2012, as the first day of a new humanity.  It will be so if we make it so, and that’s up to each and every one of us — what each of us does, how each of us chooses to live our lives.”

Come and hear don Miguel as he shares his insights and experiences with us, on what it means to lead ourselves and then others, in a time of shift.

David Wagner, will be sharing with us Life as a Daymaker – how to live your professional and personal life with purpose and joy.

David Wagner is a world-renowned hair stylist, artist, entrepreneur, educator, author and “Daymaker.” Innovator of the “pay-it-forward” movement of Daymaking, Wagner’s philosophy for living a life that changes the world – one person at a time – through simple acts of kindness, has captured the hearts of thousands around the world.

Wagner is the founder/owner of JUUT Salonspas, the original AVEDA concept salons, with eight JUUT locations in the Midwest and one in San Francisco’s Bay Area that are continually voted “Best Salon” within their communities. JUUT Salonspas employs over 400 employees. He is also the best-selling author of, Life as a Daymaker: How to Change the World by Simply Making Someone’s Day, and initiator of the “Daymaker Movement.”

As an inspirational speaker David shares what it means to bring the quality of caring not only into one’s work, but into one’s life as well.  In 2003 David took a “mobile salon” fully stocked with beauty supplies, stylists, and estheticians, around the United States.  The plan was to continue the experiment of expressing the Daymaker perspective by sharing our talents and services with those whose lives had been impacted by illness or difficulty.  It was also an opportunity to introduce his book to a larger audience.

“We worked in women’s shelters, The Ronald McDonald House, with the wives of solders who had just left for Iraq, with cancer patients in hospitals, and at AIDS Hospice Centers.  We found that the capacity to “see” oneself as having beauty, and personal value, is integral to the ability to create a more fulfilling life for oneself.  We also learned respect for the need for one’s beauty to be “authentic”, totally unique to oneself.  We brought these experiences back to Juut with us and have continued our work with “wholeness centered” beauty, and community outreach.”

“Today we receive email from dozens of different countries, stories of how caring in simple, and small ways creates extraordinary experiences. Connecting with the people in these stories gave me a deeply personal awareness of what is possible when we use our vision and hearts to create.”

You can read more about David and his work HERE.

Robin Getman, CSP,  will be our third dialogue starter, adding the element of using humor to lead ourselves and others in a time of shift: Laugh, for the Health of It!

Entertaining, informative and inspirational with a gift for injecting humor to reinforce a powerful message, Robin thinks on her feet and connects with heart, delivering programs that are pertinent, memorable and uncommonly fun!

Musical Guest – Michael James Wachner  Michael is a Minneapolis based producer, songwriter  and musician, and has an incredible way of channeling pure spirit when he plays, embodying and radiating healing energy in and through the music.

Michael’s performances are a catalyst for healing, meditation and transformation and seem to embody the beauty and spirit of the nature surrounding us.

His soul shines through his music, and you will never forget how it makes you feel.  He will help us to anchor the space with a very special musical meditation as well.

You can listen to samples of their music and find out more HERE.

Please know that your presence, whether in person or in spirit, at each of our gatherings, is deeply appreciated, as we honor each other with the positive energy of unconditional support, creativity and respect for who we choose to be, as transformational leaders in the world.  See you on May 10th!

The cost to attend is $72 if received by April 29th ($85 after that date) and includes participation, food, and beverages, as well as a free day pass to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

We are blessed with 4 amazing Guest Speakers and dialog starters for the evening:

Morty Lefkoe, CV  Author and Creator of The Lefkoe Method

Morty Lefkoe is president and founder of the Lefkoe Institute, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The mission of LI is to help people free themselves from their self-imposed limitations so they can create the lives they want.   He is also a member of our parent group, the Transformational Leadership Council.

Morty will be sharing with us his methods for transformation:

To Change Your Life, Change Your Beliefs

He will define beliefs, explain how they are formed, why they usually are hard to get rid of, how you can get rid of them easily, how virtually every behavioral and emotional problem you might have can be traced to beliefs (naming the beliefs that cause most common problems), and how beliefs impact business.

Using The Lefkoe Method,a series of revolutionary techniques for change that he created, he and his associates have helped over 13,000 clients throughout the world to permanently eradicate undesirable emotional and behavior problems.  They do this by helping clients to eliminate the beliefs that cause the problems and to de-condition negative expectations and the stimuli that cause negative feelings.  Over 70,000 people have used his belief-elimination program on line.

Examples of such dysfunctional patterns include eating disorders, depression, anxiety, the inability to express feelings, procrastination, lack of self-confidence, worrying about what people think of you, negative self talk, and relationships that aren’t working.

He recently completed a research study with Dr. Lee Sechrest and Dr. Victoria Cunningham, two psychologists at the University of Arizona.  They concluded in an article in the peer-reviewed journal, Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy: “Overall, The Lefkoe Method is an effective, quick, and convenient procedure to eliminate the fear of speaking in public.”

He and his associates also have worked with over 10,000 employees in 45 organizations, helping them to make radical chances in their behavior and the culture of their organizations, and to significantly increase innovation.

Kay Grace,  Sound Healing Practitioner and Educator, Creator of  The Harmony Wheel™

Kay will guide us through a hands-on experience of The Harmony Wheel as a divination tool to tune into the greater wisdom of the Higher Self.  We’ll be asking the question:  “What wants to emerge from the ATL Midwest as a  group which will most nourish us all as leaders in our fields?”

The Harmony Wheel™ is a divination tool which helps bypass the little voices of doubt, moving us out of our heads, and into our hearts, where Love gives us access to higher wisdom.  Using the wheel is a way to confirm what the heart’s wisdom is saying, so we can tune into what’s right for us at any given time.

When you have a question or would simply like to add greater harmony and happiness to your life, use this process to find the answers and balance you seek.

It helps to frame your question as a way to gain new insight or confirmation, rather than as a yes/no question. Some examples:

  • “How can I have more peace in my relationship with ___?”
  • “Show me what I most need to know about _____.”
  • “What will bring the greatest harmony to this situation?”
  • “What is needed to take this situation to the best resolution, for the highest good of all?”
